The Range
Notice to all members: The Camozzi Rd Range is Permanently Closed.
Shooting for the Revelstoke Rod and Gun Club will now be at the Frisby Ridge Range.
It is located 800m up the Sled Halla FSR at the end of West Side Rd.
The 100m gallery at the new range is open for handguns and rifle shooting.Follow the road past the first set of shelters and berms, to the smaller shooting shelters at the end of the road.
THE 400M RANGE IS NOT OPEN. DO NOT SHOOT AT THE 400M RANGE.
No explosive targets.
No steel targets, or other targets that may produce richochets.
Who May Use the Range
For insurance reasons, only club members and invited guests may use the range. NO EXCEPTIONS! Memberships are currently available at Johnny’s Tackle and Rough Country Marine.
Before Shooting
Sign into the log book and raise both red flags to indicate that the range is in use. Refer to detailed range rules on the bulletin board prior to shooting.
Range Hours
- To ensure safe enjoyment of our sport:
- 30 minutes AFTER SUNRISE – 30 minutes BEFORE SUN SET
